Jenny Phillimore was Founding Director of the Institute of Research into Superdiversity and is Professor of Migration and Superdiversity at the University of Birmingham. She is a Social Policy Analyst who has spent two decades researching refugee integration using an interdisciplinary approach. She is a co-author of the UK’s Integration Indicators and has written over 50 journal articles and seven books on migration, integration and superdiversity. Her latest book Exploring Welfare Bricolage in Europe’s Superdiverse Neighbourhoods will be published with Routledge in May 2021. Jenny currently leads the SEREDA project which focuses on SGBV, forced migration and integration and the NODE UK/Japan network which brings researchers together from the two nations to develop migration and diversity scholarship.
