This work package aims to reveal how existing policies and the law address radicalisation in all partners of the D.Rad consortium, to pinpoint their most critical aspects and the best practices, and finally to develop evidence-based policy and legal guidelines.
The work package reflects on the I-GAP (injustice-grievance-alienation-polarisation) spectrum focusing largely on the macro-level, examining (1) Laws and policies specifically fighting radicalisation; (2) The broader legal, policy, and institutional contextual factors have a beneficial or negative impact on radicalisation; and (3) Legal and policy integration measures targeting both specifically radicalisation, and the policy-domains whereby radicalisation trends are embedded.
